MEDICAL MICROPIGMENTATION

Medical Micropigmentation encompasses a variety of procedures tailored to correct or conceal imperfections or damage to the skin.  We implant non-permanent pigments into the epidermis layer of the skin (the outer layer). Procedures last up to 5 years, depending on exposure to sun and UV rays.

Medical Micropigmentation is very useful for scar removal or scar camouflage, post-surgery or after an accident. Including acne scars and “ice pick” scars, burns & skin grafts, scar reconstruction & skin camouflage. We also see excellent results for body art tattoo removal and correction or removal of poorly performed semi permanent makeup treatments.

Medical Micropigmentation treatments are available for men and women of any age. We make the utmost effort to ensure our treatments are as comfortable as possible. We only use the best micropigmentation machines specifically tailored to minimise trauma to the skin.

    WHAT IS POSSIBLE?

    SCAR REMOVAL

The area is treated with a course of MCA Dry Needling to flatten the scar and, in most cases, pigment the scar to a natural look.

    SCAR PIGMENTATION

When MCA Dry Needling does not pigment the scar, we apply pigments to match the skin tone surrounding the scar.

    TATTOO REMOVAL

Effectively remove unwanted or poorly done body art tattoos and semi permanent makeup procedures you are not happy with. This is the best removal system available, far superior to laser tattoo removal.

    VITILIGO

Our specialist pigments are applied to the affected area to conceal and camouflage to match the surrounding skin tone.

    ALOPECIA

Pigments are mixed to match hair colour and applied to give the look of very short stubs of hair at the skin level.

    AREOLA TATTOOING

We apply pigments to look like an areola for post-surgery patients. A very natural 3D look can be achieved by applying varying tones of pigments. This technique can also define or reshape areola if required.

    BURN SCARS

Burns nearly always cause a huge amount of trauma to the skin. First, a course of MCA Dry Needling is performed to flatten the scar and, hopefully, naturally pigment the scar. If not, then we apply pigment to match the surrounding skin tone.

    IMPERFECTIONS

Ranging from Acne Scars and Ice Pick Scars. We flatten the imperfection and camouflage with pigment implantation.

    WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?

    SKIN PATCH TEST

Nearly all Medical Micropigmentation procedures require a Skin Patch Test (SPT) before a treatment course. SPTs show the correct colour application to match the treatment area to the surrounding skin.
